Stuffed French Toast

I'm still a bit jet lagged, which means I'm waking up bright and early.  Yesterday I saw this recipe for Stuffed French Toast in a blog that I read (Smashed Peas and Carrots) and this morning, lying in bed, thinking about what I was going to do with my day, I decided I'd start off with some breakfast.  I used triple berry (raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry) filling and eyeballed the rest.  It was delicious.  Creamy and fruity inside.  The almond extract in the egg, milk mixture definitely was the highlight.  Definitely a recipe I'll be keeping on hand for those rare mornings that I take the time to cook a real breakfast.
